The future is bright

Updates

I have a lot to share about what happened since the last 3 months from my last post.

I’ve joined the construction tech space. What a huge industry ripe for innovation, especially with LLM’s and vision models. Very excited and I love construction because it’s a meaningful space. 1 in every 7 dollars is spent on construction because society needs it.

The power of outbound

Another point I want to highlight is the wonderful conversations I’ve gotten purely through sending a reddit dm/linkedin connection request. 7 hours ago I talked to the technical cofounder of a 100 person construction tech company in australia, they are 6 years old with 20 devs. He leads the eng side. I asked him about the early days and how he got started in the space. He shared some great insights about both technical and business.

2 weeks ago I talked to one CTO who at his previous company had 150 devs under him at it’s peak. That company eventually IPO’d (he was not a cofounder). I had sent him an inmail with my intro and booking link and he booked. I frame myself as a young technical founder looking to learn from more experienced people and he vibed with that from his own experience. He gave me his personal email at the end in case I have followup questions.

On thurs I am talking to another (former) technical cofounder of a 20 person construction tech company, they are 5 years old with 4 devs. He left due to his cofounder screwing him over and has downtime these days as he is cooking up his next idea. I am going to ask about his lessons in the early days to guide me. Got him through a reddit dm.

Each of them have their own unique perspective and opinions I can learn from.

I am in the early days and learning from those who walked this path before will be a shortcut to success!
